PRECISION PEST MONITORING
SUPPORTING THE FUTURE OF FARMING
Guaranteed Results
With DNA collected from your fields, we can assess biodiversity and pinpoint any pests present
No Up-Front Costs
We only charge for samples collected and analyzed, and you do not need to buy the equipment used
Custom Plans
Our service is tailored to your needs, and is suitable for both small and large farms
Receive Timely and Actionable Advice to Keep Crops Safe
We provide farmers with pest intelligence, helping them mitigate pest infestations early and lower costs through reduced use of pesticides. Invasive species are identified with DNA sequencing data obtained from the field, and our customers are presented with actionable guidance on when and how to best address an emerging infestation. With our support, farmers can safeguard food security while maintaining the health and biodiversity of their fields.
Stay Ahead of Invasive Pests and Animal Diseases
DNA sequencing has many applications in a farm setting, from understanding the health of farm ecosystems to assessing the risk of emerging pests or diseases. We collect samples both indoors and outdoors to ensure that your information needs are covered – whether on the field, in the greenhouse, or in your livestock building. The samples are sequenced to identify potential threats, be they insects, bacteria, or molds.

Frequently Asked Questions
Learn How it Works!
Can I save money on signing up with Wild Genomics?
Yes. Our precision pest monitoring services are geared towards detecting pests early and pinpointing when and where interventions like pesticides are needed. This greatly reduces input costs. In addition, our services facilitate integrated pest management to improve ecosystem and soil health, which bolsters yields over time.
Would my pest control advisor find the service useful?
Yes. We work with both farmers and pest control advisors to provide pest intelligence that supports pest control decision making. The data provided by Wild Genomics come with actionable guidance on how to best address an emerging pest outbreak.
Am I committing to up-front investments by signing up?
No. There is no up-front cost when signing up with Wild Genomics. You get access to our equipment free of charge, and only pay for the services rendered. Your only commitment is that all equipment must be returned if you decide to cancel the subscription.
What pests will the service help me detect?
Since our service is based on the sequencing of DNA from the environment, in theory we can detect ANY kind of pest, though we primarily target insects, bacteria, and fungi.
Who is responsible for maintaining the equipment?
Wild Genomics ensures that the equipment is always operational, and provides service, replacements, and upgrades as needed. We are dedicated to providing durable and user-friendly equipment, and pride ourselves on ensuring a reliable, hassle-free service.
Where can the service be used?
With our sampling device, samples containing DNA can be collected pretty much anywhere, from farm fields to greenhouses and livestock buildings. We will work with you to develop an optimal sampling schedule based on your needs and the nature of the target pests.
How does the service work, exactly?
Wild Genomics offers precision pest monitoring as a service, through hardware that samples DNA in the field and DNA-sequencing of the collected samples. You can always reach out to us if you have further questions.
How do I sign up?
We are currently offering our services to a limited number of customers, as we continue to improve it. Please feel free to send a request to hello@wildgenomics.co if you want early access.
